The Notre Dame Catholic Lancers held off the host Pomperaug Panthers soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Tuesday's league match.
The Lancers now sport a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Holy Cross for a non-league match on Thursday, October 13. Notre Dame Catholic will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Ansonia (Ansonia, CT). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-2.
