The Nighthawks now hold a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grimsley for a non-league test on Thursday, October 13. Northern Guilford will meet a Whirlies squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Page (Greensboro, NC). The Whirlies record now stands at 14-0.

With the loss, Western Guilford drops to 1-8 on the season. The Hornets host Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 13. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-6. Ragsdale lost 4-1 in their recent league test against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC)
