The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Avoca Central Tigers (Avoca, NY) and the host Genesee Valley Jaguars (Belmont, NY), saw Avoca Central's volleyball squad nip Genesee Valley by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Avoca Central upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Tigers host Arkport Central (Arkport, NY) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Friday, October 14. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

The Jaguars now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hinsdale Central for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 12. Genesee Valley will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bolivar-Richburg (Bolivar, NY). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-2.
