The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Cedar Springs Red Hawks (Cedar Springs, MI) and the host Catholic Central Cougars (Grand Rapids, MI), saw Cedar Springs's volleyball squad nip Catholic Central by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Cedar Springs upgrades its record to 11-4 on the year. The Red Hawks host Central Montcalm (Stanton, MI) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 13. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Cougars now own a 0-2 record.
