With the win, Pender upgrades its record to 13-5 on the year. The Patriots host West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 13. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-10. West Columbus lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Whiteville (Whiteville, NC)

The Gators now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host South Columbus for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 13. East Columbus will play a Stallions squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 15-0.
