In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Goochland Bulldogs.
The Flying Flucos (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Monticello was edged by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 13. Goochland will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Black Knights come into the battle with a 0-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA).
