The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) and the host Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC), saw South Columbus's volleyball squad nip Heide Trask by a tally of 2-1.

Next up, the Stallions face the East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 13. South Columbus will attempt to better on its 15-0 season record. The Gators go into the contest with a 3-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Pender (Burgaw, NC).

With the loss, Heide Trask moves to 13-6 on the year. The Titans travel to Whiteville (Whiteville, NC) to face the Wolfpack in a contest on Thursday, October 13. The Wolfpack go into the contest with a record of 7-8. Whiteville won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC)
