The Tazewell Bulldogs held off the host Marion Scarlet Hurricanes volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Chiswell for a non-league test on Monday, October 17. Tazewell will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-3.

The Scarlet Hurricanes (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Graham (Bluefield, VA). The G-Men enter the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Graham was nudged by George Wythe (Wytheville, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
