The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) and the host Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC), saw North Duplin's volleyball squad nip Rosewood by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, North Duplin upgrades its record to 9-7 on the year. The Rebels host Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC) to play the Wildcats in a bout on Thursday, October 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-3.

The Eagles now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Lakewood for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 13. Rosewood will play a Leopards squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Leopards record now stands at 6-9.
