The Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) soccer nipped the visiting Bethany Wolves (Summerfield, NC), 5-4 in Tuesday's league bout.
With the victory, Cornerstone Charter moves its record to 7-10 on the year. The Cardinals host Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC) to battle the Falcons in a Northwest Piedmont 1A bout on Tuesday, October 25. The Falcons enter the bout with a record of 11-5.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A bout, on Tuesday, October 18. Bethany will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the bout with a 6-5 record after their 7-2 league loss to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC).
