Georgia High School Softball - Habersham Central loses to Apalachee

The Apalachee Wildcats softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Habersham Central Raiders to 0 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Apalachee improves its record to 26-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to North Forsyth (Cumming, GA) to clash with the Raiders in a 6A Region 8 test on Thursday, October 13. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 20-9. North Forsyth lost 15-1 in their recent non-league test against North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA)
The Raiders (13-15) will now prepare for their test against Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Longhorns come into the 6A Region 8 test with a 10-18 record. In their last test, Lanier was routed by Jackson County (Jefferson, GA), 10-7, in a league test.
