The Jones County Greyhounds softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Union Grove Wolverines to 0 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Jones County improves its record to 16-10 on the year.

In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA) in a 5A Region 2 game, on Wednesday, October 12. Union Grove will attempt to improve on its 13-11 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 15-8 record after their 11-3 league win over Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA).
