The Nottoway Cougars topped the visiting Amelia County Raiders volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cougars now have a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prince Edward County for a James River test on Tuesday, October 18. Nottoway will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.

The Raiders (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Dukes enter the James River test with a 0-13 record. In their last test, Cumberland was knocked off by Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA), 3-0, in a league test.
