The Pirates now have a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Runge for a 1A Region IV District 29 challenge on Friday, October 14. Nordheim will encounter a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pettus (Pettus, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-6.

Next, the Redfish encounter the Pettus War Eagles (Pettus, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Friday, October 14. Austwell-Tivoli will attempt to move on its 8-12 season record. The War Eagles enter the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Runge (Runge, TX).
