The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) and the host Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL), saw Kankakee's volleyball squad beat Bloom by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Kankakee upgrades its record to 16-8 on the year. The Kays travel to Thornwood (South Holland, IL) to play the Thunderbirds in a Southland bout on Thursday, October 13. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 15-10.

The Blazing Trojan now own a 12-11 record. They play next when they travel to Crete-Monee for a Southland bout on Thursday, October 13. Bloom will play a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 11-12.
