Virginia High School Volleyball - Independence crushed by Briar Woods

The Briar Woods Falcons topped the visiting Independence volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Falcons now have a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodgrove for a Potomac test on Thursday, October 13. Briar Woods will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over John Champe (Aldie, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 13-2.
With the loss, Independence moves to 9-8 on the year. The travel to Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA) to battle the Bulldogs in a Potomac contest on Thursday, October 13. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 12-7. Stone Bridge won 3-2 in their recent league contest against Riverside (Leesburg, VA)
