New Mexico High School Volleyball - Tularosa edged by Capitan

The Capitan Tigers held off the visiting Tularosa Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Tigers now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cloudcroft for a 2A District 3 test on Thursday, October 13. Capitan will confront a Bears team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM). The Bears record now stands at 10-5.

The Wildcats (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM). The Chiefs enter the 2A District 3 test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Mescalero Apache was nudged by Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM), 3-0, in a league test.
