The Carter-Riverside Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) volleyball overcame the visiting Western Hills Cougars (Fort Worth, TX), 3-1 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, Carter-Riverside upgrades its record to 13-14 on the year. The Eagles host Western Hills (Frankfort, KY) to play the Wolverines in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 12. The Wolverines go into the outing with a record of 4-16.
The Cougars now own a 5-21 record. They play next when they host Benbrook for a 4A Region II District 9 outing on Friday, October 14. Western Hills will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Eastern Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 20-12.
