Illinois High School Volleyball - Coal City tips Herscher

October 11, 2022: Coal City, IL 60416

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) and the visiting Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL), saw Coal City's volleyball squad nip Herscher by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Coal City upgrades its record to 20-7 on the year. The Coalers host Lisle (Lisle, IL) to play the Lions in a Illinois Central Eight bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-22.

The Tigers now own a 11-20 record. They play next when they host Streator for a Illinois Central Eight bout on Thursday, October 13. Herscher will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-17.
