The Florence Gophers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Coolidge Bears to 0 in the Gophers league victory on Tuesday.

The Gophers now have a 11-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host American Leadership Academy - Ironwood for a 3A - South Central game on Thursday, October 13. Florence will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league win over Globe (Globe, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 7-12.

The Bears (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ). The Chargers enter the 3A - South Central game with a 5-15 record. In their last game, Benjamin Franklin dropped by Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ), 3-0, in a league game.
