Rhode Island High School Volleyball - Coventry overwhelmed by South Kingstown

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host South Kingstown Rebels volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Coventry Oakers.

The Rebels (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Patriots come into the State Championship Division - A battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Portsmouth defeated Cranston West (Cranston, RI), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Oakers encounter the Classical Purples (Providence, RI) in a State Championship Division - B battle, on Thursday, October 13. Coventry will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Purples come into the battle with a 4-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over West Warwick (West Warwick, RI).
