The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) and the host Cumberland Dukes (Cumberland, VA), saw Lunenburg Central's volleyball squad beat Cumberland by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Lunenburg Central upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Chargers travel to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA) to play the Knights in a James River bout on Thursday, October 20. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 5-5.

The Dukes now own a 0-13 record. They play next when they host Altavista for a non-league bout on Monday, October 17. Cumberland will play a Colonels squad coming off a 3-0 league win over William Campbell (Naruna, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 7-5.
