The Phoebus Phantoms held off the host Denbigh Patriots volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Phantoms now have a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hampton for a Peninsula test on Thursday, October 13. Phoebus will confront a Crabbers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Bethel (Hampton, VA). The Crabbers record now stands at 0-10.

The Patriots (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Gloucester (Gloucester, VA). The Dukes enter the Peninsula test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Gloucester held off Heritage (Newport News, VA), 3-1, in a league test.
