North Carolina High School Volleyball - Elkin Mount Airy

October 11, 2022: Mount Airy, NC 27030

The Elkin Buckin' Elks volleyball team (Elkin, NC), was dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC)

The Granite Bears (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Trojans enter the Northwest 1A challenge with a 16-3 record. In their last challenge, Alleghany defeated Starmount (Boonville, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Buckin' Elks encounter the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) in a Northwest 1A challenge, on Thursday, October 13. Elkin will attempt to move on its 7-14 season record. The Sauras enter the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 3-1 league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC).
