The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) and the host Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL), saw Sterling's volleyball squad beat Galesburg by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Sterling upgrades its record to 10-14 on the year. The Golden Warriors host Alleman (Rock Island, IL) to play the Pioneers in a Western Big 6 bout on Thursday, October 13. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 4-19. Alleman lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Quincy (Quincy, IL)

The Silver Streaks now own a 9-14 record. They play next when they host Moline for a Western Big 6 bout on Thursday, October 13. Galesburg will play a Maroons squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Geneseo (Geneseo, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 19-8.
