North Carolina High School Volleyball - Perquimans over Gates County

October 11, 2022: Hertford, NC 27944

In Tuesday's league contest, the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Pirates battle the Cape Hatteras Hurricanes (Buxton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 12. Perquimans will attempt to better on its 16-1 season record. The Hurricanes go into the contest with a 8-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC).

With the loss, Gates County moves to 9-11 on the year. The Red barons host South Creek (Robersonville, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a Four Rivers 1A challenge on Thursday, October 13. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 4-14. South Creek lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Riverside-Martin (Williamston, NC)
