The Guilford Grizzlies topped the visiting Hillhouse Academics volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Grizzlies now have a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamden for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 12. Guilford will confront a Green Dragons team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Foran (Milford, CT). The Green Dragons record now stands at 8-6.
The Academics (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Branford (Branford, CT). The Hornets enter the Southern Connecticut - Quinnipiac test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Branford gained a win over North Branford (North Branford, CT), 3-1, in a non-league test.
