The Hickory Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Oscar Smith Tigers to 0 in the Hawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Hawks now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeland for a Southeastern game on Thursday, October 13. Hickory will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-10.

The Tigers (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies enter the Southeastern game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Grassfield defeated Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA), 3-2, in a league game.
