The Sterling Jets volleyball team (Sterling, NE), was dropped 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Johnson-Brock Eagles (Johnson, NE)

The Eagles (12-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart (Falls City, NE). The Irish enter the non-league challenge with a 20-7 record. In their last challenge, Sacred Heart was dropped by Pawnee City (Pawnee City, NE), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Jets meet the Southern Raiders (Wymore, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Sterling will attempt to move on its 11-12 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 4-19 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Lewiston (Lewiston, NE).
