The Eagles (14-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Rice (Rice, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Region III District 18 challenge with a 9-22 record. In their last challenge, Rice went down by Eustace (Eustace, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Blooming Grove Lions (Blooming Grove, TX) in a 3A Region III District 18 challenge, on Friday, October 14. Kemp will attempt to move on its 9-14 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 13-20 record after their 3-2 league win over Malakoff (Malakoff, TX).
