Texas High School Volleyball - La Vega overwhelmed by Salado

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Salado Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the La Vega Pirates.

The Eagles (26-14) will now prepare for their battle against Connally (Waco, TX). The Cadets come into the 4A Region III District 23 battle with a 5-20 record. In their last battle, Connally went down by China Spring (China Spring, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Pirates encounter the Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 battle, on Friday, October 14. La Vega will attempt to move on its 2-22 season record. The Rockets come into the battle with a 17-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gatesville (Gatesville, TX).
