The Nansemond River Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Lakeland Cavaliers to 0 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.

The Warriors now have a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host King's Fork for a Southeastern game on Thursday, October 13. Nansemond River will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-9.

The Cavaliers (2-10) will now prepare for their game against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks enter the Southeastern game with a 13-5 record. In their last game, Hickory gained a win over Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
