In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Pine Ridge Thorpes volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Little Wound Mustangs.

The Thorpes (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Red Cloud (Pine Ridge, SD). The Crusaders come into the A Region 7 battle with a 7-12 record.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Crazy Horse Chiefs (Wanblee, SD) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 17. Little Wound will attempt to advance on its 8-11 season record.
