Kansas High School Volleyball - Washburn Rural over Manhattan

Washburn Rural Blues (Topeka, KS) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Blues battle the Seaman Vikings (Topeka, KS) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 13. Washburn Rural will attempt to advance on its 30-1 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 22-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Blue Valley West (Stilwell, KS).

With the loss, Manhattan drops to 15-19 on the campaign. The Indians host South (Salina, KS) to battle the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, October 18. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 14-20. South won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Salina Central (Salina, KS)
