The Providence Pioneers volleyball team (Burbank, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Mayfield Cubs (Pasadena, CA)

The Cubs (22-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA). The Tologs enter the non-league challenge with a 19-15 record. In their last challenge, Flintridge Sacred Heart defeated Louisville (Woodland Hills, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers encounter the The Webb Schools Gauls (Claremont, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 14. Providence will attempt to move on its 17-17 season record. The Gauls enter the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pacifica Christian/Orange County (Newport Beach, CA).
