North Carolina High School Volleyball - Mount Pleasant routed by Union Academy

The Union Academy Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers to 0 in the Cardinals league victory on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now possess a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Stanly for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game on Thursday, October 13. Union Academy will meet a Comets team coming off a 3-1 league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Comets record now stands at 12-8.

The Tigers (12-9) will now prepare for their game against Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Robinson defeated A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
