The Killingly Redmen held off the host Ledyard Colonels soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Wednesday's league match.
The Redmen now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montville for a non-league game on Saturday, October 14.
The Colonels (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Fitch (Groton, CT). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 0-13 record. In their last game, Fitch was nudged by Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT), 4-0, in a non-league game.
