In Wednesday's non-league game, the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) football team knocked off the visiting Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA), by a score of 47-16.
The Gladiators (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Stuarts Draft was knocked off by Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 34-14, in a non-league game.
The Bison now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Staunton for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 18. Buffalo Gap will battle a Storm team coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA). The Storm record now stands at 4-4.
