First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC), 7-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Nighthawks confront the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 13. First Flight will attempt to move on its 12-0 season record. The Mighty Oaks enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA).
The Bruins now possess a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martin County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 12. Camden County will confront a team coming off a 4-3 league loss to North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC). The record now stands at 2-12.
