The South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) soccer nipped the host Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC), 3-2 in Wednesday's league bout.
With the victory, South View moves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Hoke County (Raeford, NC) to confront the Bucks in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 12. The Bucks enter the bout with a record of 12-7. Hoke County won 9-1 in their recent league bout against Union Pines (Cameron, NC)
In their next game, the Bears confront the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A bout, on Monday, October 16. Gray's Creek will attempt to move on its 3-13 season record. The Buccaneers enter the bout with a 15-6 record after their 5-1 league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC).
