North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ashe County over South Caldwell

Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 12. Ashe County will attempt to advance on its 16-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 15-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Rosman (Rosman, NC).

With the loss, South Caldwell drops to 10-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a Northwestern 3A/4A match on Monday, October 16. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 12-9. Hibriten lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Hickory (Hickory, NC)
