Virginia High School Volleyball - James Monroe crushed by Courtland

The Courtland Cougars topped the host James Monroe Yellow Jackets volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's league test.

The Cougars now have a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern View for a Battlefield test on Thursday, October 12. Courtland will confront a Cyclones team coming off a 3-0 league win over Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA). The Cyclones record now stands at 4-13.

The Yellow Jackets (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Knights enter the Battlefield test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Spotsylvania was knocked off by King George (King George, VA), 3-2, in a league contest.
