The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 17-9. Scales Mound won 2-0 in their recent league bout against West Carroll (Savanna, IL)

The Warriors now own a 10-15 record. They play next when they host Galena for a Northwest Upstate Illini bout on Thursday, October 12. East Dubuque will play a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Warren (Warren, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 23-3.
