In Wednesday's league contest, the Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) volleyball squad knocked off the host Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL) in a Heart of Illinois contest, on Thursday, October 12. Tri-Valley will attempt to better on its 21-4 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 6-19 record after their 2-0 league loss to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL).

With the loss, Fieldcrest drops to 24-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Lexington (Lexington, IL) to battle the Minutemen in a Heart of Illinois contest on Thursday, October 12. The Minutemen come into the contest with a record of 16-11. Lexington won 2-0 in their recent league contest against Fisher (Fisher, IL)
