The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Fort Thomas Apaches (Fort Thomas, AZ) and the visiting Superior Panthers (Superior, AZ), saw Fort Thomas's volleyball squad nip Superior by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Fort Thomas upgrades its record to 6-11 on the year. The Apaches travel to Dishchii’bikoh (Cibecue, AZ) to play the Wildcats in a 1A - Copper bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-11.

The Panthers now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Joseph City for a 1A - Copper bout on Thursday, October 12. Superior will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Dishchii’bikoh (Cibecue, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-9.
