The Frederick Douglass Broncos volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Sayre Spartans to 0 in the Broncos league victory on Wednesday.
The Broncos now have a 21-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Oldham for a non-league game on Saturday, October 14. Frederick Douglass will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 21-7.
The Spartans (24-7) will now prepare for their game against Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Defenders enter the District 42 game with a 22-17 record. In their last game, Bryan Station gained a win over Lafayette (Lexington, KY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
