The Myrtle Point Bobcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Milo Adventist Academy Mustangs to 0 in the Bobcats league victory on Wednesday.
The Bobcats now have a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yoncalla for a 1A Skyline game on Thursday, October 12. Myrtle Point will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Riddle (Riddle, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 3-16.
The Mustangs (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Umpqua Valley Christian (Roseburg, OR). The Monarchs enter the 1A Skyline game with a 16-2 record. In their last game, Umpqua Valley Christian gained a win over Camas Valley (Camas Valley, OR), 3-0, in a league game.
