The Shelby Valley Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Tug Valley Panthers to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now have a 23-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Ridge for a District 59 game on Monday, October 16. Shelby Valley will meet a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pulaski County (Somerset, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 12-16.
The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Miners enter the non-league game with a 8-18 record. In their last game, Mingo Central dropped by Logan (Logan, WV), 3-1, in a non-league game.
