The Amery Warriors felled the visiting St. Croix Central Panthers football team by a score of 20-9 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Somerset Spartans (Somerset, WI) in a Middle Border challenge, on Friday, October 18. Amery will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 44-38 league loss to Altoona (Altoona, WI).

The Panthers (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI). The Blackhawks go into the Middle Border challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Baldwin-Woodville toppled Prescott (Prescott, WI), 41-30, in a league challenge.
