In Friday's league match, the visiting Santa Fe Trail Chargers football squad scored a good 33-7 triumph over the Baldwin Bulldogs.
The Chargers (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Anderson County (Garnett, KS). The Bulldogs come into the Pioneer match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Anderson County was beaten by Prairie View (La Cygne, KS), 51-14, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Bishop Ward Cyclones (Kansas City, KS) in a Pioneer match, on Friday, October 18. Baldwin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Cyclones come into the match with a 0-5 record after their 47-6 league loss to Wellsville (Wellsville, KS).
